I'm going to be booking a show a month at DeeDee's Lounge in Quincy. I'm not sure of dates yet, working on those. They'll be starting in either March or April. Probably April.

They asked plague bringer to turn down to the point where everyone could hear each other speak. it was pretty bullshit. there were a few people that actually showed up purely for plague bringer and they decided to just end their set. not to mention the pa wasn't working and they didn't have a sound guy. me and one of the dudes in plague bringer spent an hour at the begining of the night finding the right cables, seeing which speakers worked, etc. Then at the end of the night one guy came up to me telling me that he hopes i'm not pissed and that i understand where he was coming from. i let him know that allston thought he was gay. i'm never going back to that place.

It's a Saturday. I thought I'd have Panzerbastard open, Rich Horror and the Screaming Nervous Breakdowns 2nd, Hirudinea 3rd, and Rummy Rumsfeld close.

AC are fucking rock stars and won't play for less than $500, and even though way more than $500 would easily come through the door, that amount seems to scare off most DIY promoters.

Yeah, I can't do that. I don't have $500.00 free dollars ever.

And I wouldn't really want to play for a promoter that doesn't feel confident about bringing in a measly 50 people.
