I heard every time Steve Yzerman gets depressed he plays this game to watch himself score 47 goals. I lost more friends fighting over who was going to be the Red Wings then I have to AIDS, boating accidents, and heroine overdoses combined. Easily one of the most fun, addictive sports games ever.

I don't remember if I had this or NHL 95 as a kid but I had a blast playing it.

NFL 95 was a big deal at the time. It was only fun because you could deck somebody with Ray Crittenden and have him say "WHERE YOU GOIN!?"

95 was my jam...i bought one of those controllers you plug into the TV that had NHL and Madden 95 last year
needlesss to say i spent the better part of a semester playing it, but it fell one day and the graphics got all fucked up so i threw it away, it was only like 20 bucks maybe i'll buy it again

94 and 95 were both pretty equal, one of them had blood and the other didn't because of all that mortal kombat hoopla, so i'll take the year that had blood.

It was all about Mel Gray, the mysterious Lions second running back with a low 50's overall rating but the most ridiculous speed ever.

me and my buudy used play this at our old apartment til the wee hours of the morning, with the tv blaring loud the upstairs neighbors would alwats stomp on the floor for us to turn dowen the tv and stop yelling when we scored goals. also we always played for money and if you had no money and lost you had to eat cigarettes from the ashtray.5 bucks=2cigarettes butts
