yeah I remember seeing them at the benefest thing at Jarrods a while back, tons of energy which is cool to see rather than a band just sitting there. It'll be cool to check em out again, and finally see TYAG too!

Is Suffering Bastard playing as well? I heard they were when I first heard about the show.

I wanted them to play so I told Mike to put them on it. Miek and I are still waiting word to see if they can, so if you dont hear anything more dont expect them to be playing I guess... which sucks.

Yeah the store will be open but we should deal with that before I leave, because they are not going to buy any metal while I'm away...that's my instruction to those guys. If we cannot take care of that before next week, we'll do when I come back.

That sucks about Suffering Bastard. Let me know if they ever say yes or no. The show will be good anyway.

I had a blast at this show. Every band I watched was great. I would like to play there again. Great crowd, people, etc. Thanks to Box Of Knives for putting this on. It's a very good thing what this place is doing.

Basilissk-good melodic black/death metal. They reminded me of Dissection, Opthalamia, Noctuary, mixed with some early thrash riffs. Very metal.

TYAG- much better than the old stuff I heard by them, which they were telling me. They were right about the new stuff being better. The guitarist comes up with some great riffing. Pretty original death/grind. Only thing that sucked was when Devin stopped singing, but the music was still interesting. Good meeting you guys, you were fun.

Nefarious- Brutal black/death. It's refreshing to see a band like them. Really energetic and gave off a violent vibe. Great band. The demo is cool as well.

Hirudinea- I thought we sounded good. We played a new song at the end, and a very chaotic version of Mayhem's Deathcrush in closing.

Great time in all.

i stopped singing cause the PA got fucked. sorry i sang 3 songs at least. haha. word.
