im doing a little reasearch as to what the value of this really is, as many people have told me 400$ is retartedly low. at this point it looks like 5-6 hundred will be closer to the price, however i need to investigate further....

Ok, turns out it is a 2000 american strat, serial number is still on it and shit blah blah. strats now go for 950$ new, and its obviously not old enough to be vintage, so im not looking for 10000$ or some shit. I figure taking off 40% of the face value brings it down to 570$, then with the hardshell case being 90$ new, ill make it 30$ (66% off) just to make it 600$ even. It's in mint condition, minus a small chip in the paint on the back near the strap lock at the bass of the guitar.
