Bump for the Auburn System, and the fact that there are stupid douchebags that rip on them even though they're one of the nicest bands I know.

haha, anything you say pal

nu-metal, that's great

toggletoggle post by anonymous at Jun 9,2006 4:01pm
yeah along with shot down sun. jumped on the metalcore bandwagon.

toggletoggle post by SeedBassist at Jun 9,2006 4:23pm
Does posting annonymously make you feel better about yourself? Regardless of what you say, we play the music we want to play, and have done so for the past 3 years, and if you see us as metalcore, then so be it. I'd like to hear your band, just so I can see what you judge as quality music.

Anywho, this thread isn't about Seed....It's about the show on June 11th, so feel free to IM me with your pointless bashing, just don't do it on a thread about a show that has nothing to do with my band

auburn system, the: so I guess kyle (seedbasist) was filling in for them on this show. Cool to see him in a band today. I guess he learned all the songs in a day or so. He seemed to know what he was doing. People were complaining that the vocals were too low, but I could hear them jus fine.

network, the: it's been forever since I've seen this band. They were holed up in NH, recording their new (or first) CD. They only played a couple songs, but they played (i think) 2 new songs. nate had one of the best tan lines ever. I hope it's in the pictures. also, I hope all the craziness from them came out in the pictures. Stuff like guitars swinging out, failed bass spins, etc... They invited guy up to sing the last song, but he declned.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jun 11,2006 6:28pm
in remembrance: even though they missing a guitarist, it still sounded good. Not that many people dancing, but a few. Their set was super short. I think they played like 4 maybe 5 songs. I thought that their last song would have a sing along but it didnt.

Ok, this part of the night, all the northern mass and NH kids started having drinking contests at the bar. So far, luke (STF) is the undisputed champ. I'm pretty sure that he's cheating by being irish as fuck.

in our blood: they had their CD release last friday so what do they use for a set list? the CD, ha. A lot more people danced for them. this was just a little part of brockton transplanted into NH.

toggletoggle post by succubus  at Jun 11,2006 6:34pm
goooooo luke!!!

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jun 11,2006 7:03pm
mercury switch: I think that every single show I see them play does well cause they bring out the NH people. There was a wrestling match in the middle of their set. When I saw jonny hc in there, I feared for his knee would blow out again. On their second to last song, they had a pretty ripping sing along. One of the mics disappeared.

I just got pictures of luke chugging a pitcher agains big al. not sure who one, but I'm sure luke will be the loser tomorrow.

toggletoggle post by josh603 at Jun 11,2006 8:31pm
wow that bar was a god damn fucking shit show. jesus christ. big al ended up winning that pitcher chugging. and then they did a shot after.

oh yeah the show was good to. got kinda violent.

toggletoggle post by LtdEc-1000  at Jun 11,2006 9:01pm
So every red chord show you should just pretty much be ready to hold a mic, huh?

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jun 11,2006 10:17pm
pictures uploading in a second.

toggletoggle post by anonymous at Jun 11,2006 10:21pm
im surprised there werent more casualties during the red chord place was being torn up

toggletoggle post by cav at Jun 11,2006 10:33pm
i wanted to go to this show on the way home from maine but i was running on an hour of sleep. plus the last time i traveled to see the red chord (w hulud and tdtde) the bassist made fun of me for yawning during their set. so whatever. i prolly would have left before them anyways. it would have been like my 9th-10th time seeing them. i really want to see mercury switch again though!!

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jun 11,2006 10:41pm
my pictures sort of suck.

Anyone else here cut their hand open with the mic The Rev was holding? By the way sweet side moshing to death at this show. Other than that this is probably one of the best Nashua shows I've been to in a while.

red chord, the: they had more equipment than I have ever seen for a band up here. Joey coggs moshtasticqally took out gunface's gear during one of the first songs, but it was put back together quickly. John fay's guitar broke so there was a sonic youth like noise coming out of his nice gear.
"this feels like 98" probably cause it's all the same people in the audience. but I know what he was saying. This is the attitude in the scene that has been missing since shows stopped at the KOC in lawrence mass. I missed the break-dancing, someone did the spinny thing on the ground, but guy asked him to do it againt and I snapped pictures the second time.
For the last song, they busted into the song that would never end version of dreaming in dog years. That 3 minute song turned into like 10+ minutes. First, mr cogs tip-toed his tiny frame through
In the end, I took the second mic from someone (sorry) and made some retarded screaming noises as everyone else fought for the second mic. I wish I could have handed out an "it's not going to be alright" and a "it's not going to be ok" out to everyone who wanted one. You are just going to have to wait for the rev chord tour next summer.
