I don't get why these abrahamic religions get so upset when people tell them their books are nothing but a collection of slightly fact based myth, sure some of the events and characters were real, but the other things probably were thrown in their through use of creative license.

I mean ask any hindu, asatru, ba'hai, or shinto follower what they think about their sacred texts and they will tell you that it was the work of poets who wished to make moral tales vibrant, or who wished to turn something like the rising of the sun into something far more aesthetic
