just read an article in the new guitar world with adam jones...they talk a lot about using polyrhythms and new weird effects(if there were some that they hadn't used already...haha)

My friend Matt (posts on here as "paradigmdream") found it yesterday, then sent it to me...then i sent it to Mark (dreaminginexile), who seems to be sending it to people on here.

I'm diggin it, i like how they mixed maynard's vocals a little lower than usual to put the focus on the music rather than maynard. And I'm really liking the drum and bass work on the record.

i like tool. not one of my favorite bands, but i enjoy them. i'd say about 90% of metalheads don't like them because of their nu-metal and jock contingents of fans. the other 10% of metalheads just don't care for their sound.

anyways ive always been a fan, i heard the new song and i guess its been like...what 5 years since the last one....so i will say that i have realized judging on one song that they sound the Fucking same as the other shit...very moNOToNUS
