Roll call for fans of this fantastic Finnish band.

I am an avid fan of all three full-lengths:

Strength & Honour (2001)
Opferblut (2003)
Carelian Satanist Madness (2005)

They also have splits with Akitsa, Krieg, Gestapo 666 and others. Satanic Tyrant Werwolf has also been in many other Finnish staples like Horna, Pest and Warloghe. Part of the reason I enjoy them is because they kill musically but don't take it so seriously, songs are about vampires and other nonsense. For example:

Nature's primal unchained energy
That is enshrined in all that exists
The power of great destruction
And creation on the crumbling remains

Satan, creator
Satan, destructor
Satan, master residing in the void
…of true blackness

The erect phallus of fertility
And the horns as it's guardians
The procreation of the triumphant
And the demise of the worthless

Satan, protector
Satan, imperator
Satan, master residing in the void
…of true blackness

The ashes that nourish the soil
Born from the wrathful breath
That swallows the burdening life
Is a veil brooding our reborn earth

Satan, protector
Satan, renewer
Satan, master residing in the void
…of true blackness.

Also, is it just me or is he holding a banana on the Carelian Satanist Madness cover?

I have not heard much of them but what I have heard was sick

Horna rules too

It's really good. I also love Horna but not the newer albums so much.

I have the 1st 2 S.W. CDs, haven't gotten the 3rd yet.

The WARLOGHE CD is killer too, and I have and enjoy all the HORNA CDs.

FAACK YEAH!!
This thread has inspired me to spin Strength & Honour! I'm gonna do Opferblut next. Love this band, first got into them from the No Colours comp, Victory Through Total Domination comp. Awesome band.

Hehe, not forgetting them. Vultyr, Impaled Nazarene, Pest, and Azaghal are great. I'm on the fence with Beherit, sometimes I can hear the genius, sometimes I think they are an overrated load of shite.

Everything SW has released and been onvolved with is excellent...

Pest (fin) is his first project and is highly recomended.

I've only heard a couple of splits but what i heard is amazing. Need more money to get more metal.

Isn't Werwolf also in Black Death Ritual and Baptism? I know there some link between the three bands.

What about Pest (Ger)? I have both Pest's and I can't decide which one I like more. Pest (Fin) is so old school, while Pest (Fin) is Burzum-esque and is like nothing I've heard before. I have some Black Metal fanzines and there is an Urn interview, I've always wanted to hear them. Also Beherit fucking rules! So kvlt and grimmmm.
