I've been on hold for about 30 minutes now, trying to do the simple task of switching my DSL over to dry loop DSL so I can ditch Verizon's phone service and switch to Vonage...bloody hell, I think I've punched my own phone number in about 10 times already and been asked for it about 3 times. Why can't one fucking live person actually answer the phone and change my order in 3 minutes or less? When I finally do get someone who knows their face from their ass I bet the dry loop price will cost too much and I won't want it anyway...arrrghh.

Verizon has idiots working for them in every department. I hear the FIOS service is good and cheap, though.

yeah, that was fun, after about 45 minutes I finally got someone who told me I didn't need to do anything because it'll automatically switch over...we shall see...

That said I don't have a cell phone. But I used to. I miss text messages, no phone call required. Beautiful.
