10-2 is easy as fuck.

I am working 11-10, so stop complaining.

dude, a lot of people have to work today. they have to work longer and much harder than you and i'll bet they don't complain about it either. besides, 10-2 is five hours - that's a weenie shift. i'm working 5-9 tonight, i'm not complaining.
if working and making money sucks so bad, why don't you quit? or at least call in sick.

I'd kill to have a 4 hour shift just once. 10-2 is the biggest pussiest shift I've ever heard of stop complaining.

when I was working at Olive garden I'd work noon - 11 pm every saturday. no social life for me.

id totally understand if you were working like 10am - 2am sure bitch but that really is one of the easier shifts.

I worked in a warehouse dirtier than you could ever imagine...
it was an old mill building.
then a furniture making place for years,
and then became a warehouse for rollerblades, shellboots, and sneakers.
they never cleaned it.. ever... there were pilled of sawdust everywhere and there were no windows or ventilation. I kept having to re-organize the back rooms.
after a 10 hour shift, I would blow huge black boogers.

I work 24-7... god damn salaried jobs.
I work 7am-1am and I get the same pay as if I was working 9-5. all depends on the work load and how lame higher ups are. since I am such a valuable team player

Some things I have done for various jobs over the years:

-Climbed onto roofs with a leaf blower and no safety gear whatsoever to clean gutters. Roofs with a steeper pitch involved pretty much walking the gutters to get it done faster.
-High rise window cleaning. Enough said.
-On the topic of window/gutter cleaning, fully extended 40 foot ladder. There was one day I went up a 40 footer at least two dozen times in a row and that day ended at 7pm after a 7:30am start.
-Had a job where I went to work at 3am six days a week.
-Currently working a job where I finish up just after 3am six days a week.
-Worked over the road as a truck driver for a short time, shared a space smaller than my bedroom with complete strangers for weeks on end and didn't see home once the entire 2.5 months I was gone, and worked basically every day driving for several hours a day. I did this overnight a couple times too and once was so tired that Exodus sounded like grindcore.

So in conclusion, thread sucks.

Also, this thread was created two days after I quit a restaurant job I'd had for two and a half years. Weird.
