New site? Maybe some day.
I use fire fox, I don't like IE. |
I use both at the same time.
firefox has a lot of CPU process time issues |
plus IE works wonderfully with outlook to dnd images.
and you can run more than one IE process at the same time.
oh yeah, and..
I use Firefox, but this new IE has tabbed browsing. I think I'm gonna check it out. |
I'm using it now... wow, it's really nice.
all the fonts are better looking.
it's sort of like safari meets firefox. |
oh and the "search" thing in the top corner has yahoo and msn in it, but if you click on it, you can add more providers. I added google right away. |
ok, I just had to reboot it. |
whoah... it updated the LnF of outlook too. |
I guess this is the "future".... vista... |
i need a validated copy of windows xp. gay. |
yeah, luckily I did it on my computer that seriously has windows on it |
I USE FIREFOX
TO DOWNLOAD IE
NO XP SERIAL CHECK
LOL |

Same here |
I downloaded this yesterday and I like it so far. I wasn't sure at first but I like the way the favorites go and how there is less junk on the top. |
I was a little confused cause the refresh button is mia |
can you add your own buttons in the tool bar like in firefox? cause I'm totally unwilling to sacrifice that. |
cracked that gay windows validation shit finally, IE7 looks decent so far, thought it's using way more memory than firefox.
IE7: 55,428k
Firefox: 10,600k |
I'm gonna give it a shot here in the office. alot of people I know have complained about IE7 so far, but this computer already has the PC HIV I think, so I really don't care what else goes wrong with it. |
firefox at 10MB ahahahahahahahahaha
my ff runs at 120-200MB constantly. |
it's running at 113MB when I posted this |
I also just had only RTTP open in both just for that reading. |
I have 10 tabs in ff.
I like all the new fonts. |
I'm not keen on the new fonts.
IE: 75,900 K -> 2 tabs
FF: 60,400 K -> 9 tabs
hmm.... can anyone say resource whore? |
I just tried with 11 tabs, all the same pages
IE: 90MB
Firefox: 123MB
ie is a notorious memory hog. but firefox is a notorious CPU hog. |
true, I still much prefer Firefox over IE though. I have to use IE for most of the stuff at work, but I use Firefox when I can.
I've got enough CPU horsepower to hold me over her ein the office, but memory is at a premium. I hate that these machines have only 512MB of ram, that's shared with the video... |
IE7 also hates WindowBlinds, the interface gets all mucked up unless you exclude it from skinning |
I use both at the same time. they are always both open. I have 1-3GB of ram in all my computers so I can forget about ie.
firefox starts will just start taking up all my CPU process time, especially when there is flash on the pages and then I have to close it. I just installed version 1.5.1 and it's been better behaved. one thing I hate about ff1.5.1 is that it's tab ordering is messed up. in version 1.4 and below, I could hit tab and then enter to send my emails, now I cant. |
ra using ie7 said: cracked that gay windows validation shit finally |
how? |
hmm... there's a feature that I really like in IE7, if you hit Ctrl+Q you get screen shots of all the tabs you have open and you can visually select them by clicking... |
Firefox is slow, handles local files badly, and has a bastardized interpretation of HTML/CSS that's even worse than IEs. Opera does some super-stupid things as well. Sucks that Microsoft is the market leader because they're the best, doesn't it?
