pretty cool, though I think Death Metal bands need to experiment with more variation in imagery than just showing corpses. Horror can be from more than just showing a dead body.

Kahori is an awesome aritst. It looks good. She did the cover and inlay for a split we did wiht Eternal Ruin and we were very happy with her work.

and the name Life at Zero sounds like a hc band while the CD looks like gore metal

I think the art is typical, but the abstract/unclear element gives it some originality. It's just nice to see real art, not Photoshop nonsense - speaking of Photoshop, the album title is the weak point, it would look a lot better if someone did it by hand.

Thanks to everyone with viable constructive criticism. Eat shit to the few who just wanted to take shots at us. Yeah B.O., I know what you mean about the album title, would be cooler if she hand drew it, but I think we'll probably go with this unless the other guys have a major problem with it. Bottom line, it looks better than anything we've done before.

I've always been the 1st to admit that Life at Zero is a crappy name, but there is nothing "core" about the music in any way.

from an artist's standpoint, i think the only things that bother me are her use of color in some places and the muddiness of the corpses. but, if you were looking for a mess of bodies, then you got it. the majority of the color looks awesome, but the pinks, yellows, etc. on the reflections in the glass take away from the rest of the piece. the light blue on the right side doesn't clash as much. and i think the logo is awesome, but the wrong color choice to go with the album cover.
