yeah, he influenced some crappy music and music that a lot of people on this board hate (I personally dug the shit out of Pantera it was part of the metal I grew up with...Pantera, Megadeth, Emperor, Maiden, Death and Morbid Angel were the first metal bands my buddy Toby got me into (I admit Emperor took some time to digest))

but there's no reason to be happy he died (except for the typical, "I am so edgy I'm happy someone's dead who I never even knew personally" shit that is just annoying) no one was going to be influenced by Damage Plan, the guy was just playing for fun at that point.
