Eh, the Kapler signing doesn't excite me THAT much. He was sucking it up really bad in Japan... and hasn't even played in a month...

Thats becaus ehe didn't want to be there. Put him back in Boston and I think he'll be right where he was last year.

I don't buy that. He got what he wanted by going to Japan, and that was money. That was his sole purpose in going, to get as much $$$ as possible. He's not a starter here, and he's not a starter there. Let's face it, we're getting excited about a fifth, MAYBE fourth outfielder at best. To be honest, I'd much rather see what Adam Stearn can do...

If it was Dave Roberts coming back though, that'd be another story...

I disagree. I think Gabe is a great outfielder off the bench, and since we lost Payton, who was better than any other utility player we had, and Stearn doesn't have the experience yet(Melky Cabrera is a good example of what can go wrong), we're stuck with Millar. Gabes got a decent bat, some speed, and a fucking rocket for an arm, so I don't mind seeing come back.

We haven't seen enough of Stearn. To be honest, I think he is another version of Gabe Kapler, just less Jewish...
