I don't know if there was already a thread about this, sorry if there is. But I just heard this yesterday. They are playing Live8, the UK date, July 2nd. Gilmour's statement on their site is something to the effect of "Any differences we've had in the past can be put aside as they pale in comparison to the horrid starvation in third world countries." This is gonna be great, can't wait!

They mean the horrible depletion of their gigantic bank accounts, but anyhow that's still pretty cool. They just need to tour in the U.S.

Yeah right dude, they still get huge crowds on their solo tours. And I highly doubt that this will result in any further reunion. Although we can hope.
