alright i just watched it and here are my initial thoughts"

1. it doesnt look like a romero film. i know technology has advanced and what not, but this looks like an mtv zomblie flick ala resident evil, DOTD remake.
2. i dont think this is gonna be that big of a commericial success. the trailor was not very interesting at all. that means at least real romero fans wont have to deal with Land of the Dead Tshirts in Hot Topic.

If you read some of the interviews, especially the one with Greg Nicotero who does the fx, he said all of it is appliances and the classic Romero style. The only time they used any CGI was for the large "zombie crowd" effect. I think this will rule. Don't rule it out just yet until you see it.

saw it last night, it was an OK trailer, couldn't really see much 'cos all the shots were dark 'n' quick

but hell yeah I'm goin', this looks like it could actually be a good summer for horror
