Ive never seen a bass COMBO with 4 10's in it, I dont think. Its going to be loud as hell.

To play bass I use my Crate practice guitar amp at maximum volume always. I'm very surprised it hasn't blown up yet. I have a real bass amp....but it sounds to good.

Whenever I've tried out Hartke amps and cabs in stores I've been unimpressed, but maybe it was the bass, the room, or the way I eq'ed the amp. I don't know.

Geddy Lee uses Hartke so what the fuck do I know. That guy is a bass legend.

Hartke's a pretty decent amp. seems like a good purchase

I have the exact same vx3500 combo. I use it for the brutality of Terminally Your Aborted Ghost.
You can turn the thing practically all the way up with no static, no feedback, and no sound loss. At practices I keep it less than half way up and it competes with a 150w blue voodoo.

I wish I'd have known you wanted one, I'm actually trying to sell mine to make some money for my soon-to-be 1000 watt carvin fullstack

Alot. I want about 550 for it. I know that's only like 100 bucks cheaper than buying it new at a store and I'd like to sell it for cheaper, but I'm strapped for cash and If I ever want to make enough money for that carvin I need every penny.

I've seen Eden 4 x 10's online too now that I think of it. They got extremely pricey though. I guess I should have checked to see if anyone had one or something like it for sale. Although this is still factory sealed and im only paying 580. Then again im not paying for it, my Dad is. Its a belated Christmas present.

my bassist just got a hartke 2x10 xl w/aluminum cones and drivers.
that sits on top of an ampeg classic 4x10. running thru a Hartke 3500 (I think), an ART 31 band rack eq, and a big muff pi.

Gonna be SWEET.

It's less than a year old, 500 may be do-able.
I'm not getting rid of it till I have 700$ to add to the money from the amp so I can buy my new one.
