What up return to the pit. I am just starting to promote the new Tides CD and thought I'd throw some info on here. This is the first major release on my label (though its my 5th release to date) and Im really fucking pumped about it. This shit rules hard.

Here's a little press blurb:

The band is an instrumental three-piece from Plattsburgh, New York, who draw inspiration ranging from Burning Witch, to Neil Young, to Neurosis to Led Zeppelin. On their new CD, the six tracks are as dynamic as they are well thought out. Long winding passages of ambience lead into ultra-heavy guitar riffs and pounding drums. The contrast of tones is almost cinimatic, if you imagine dramatic storys unwinding to music.

"Resurface" was recorded in 2004 in a Plattsburgh barn and much of the next year was spent trying to figure out what to do with it. The band officially signed to Teenage Disco Bloodbath, an up and coming Boston label, in early January of '05. The artwork was soon finished and the CD sent off to be pressed. The record release show was February 25th at the Coolidge Corner Theater, and this album will be hitting every Newbury Comics location within the next two weeks. It is also being carried at Armageddon Records (Providence), Cathartic Records (Providence) and soon at Re:Generation Records (Allston).
