there are a few tutorials, do you know how to work with layermasks etc?

I'm not an expert at photoshop, but I'm very compitent in PS. when I have a moment, I'll dig up some good tutorials for you... I'm waist deep in about 45000 lines of code ATM, (hooray for complex php/MySQL web applications)

Give me about 45 mins or so to dig up some tuts and I'll post 'em when I've got 'em

im not sure about makin the 3d objects, but the light tools can be found in filter/render in photoshop.

that filter doesn't apply n objects in 3D..
so it would just apply on the a flat surface.
