i bought this for my gf about 4 years ago and she never uses it. i have no idea what model it is. everytime im in a store i look at the jacksons and just about none of them have the same neck, bridge or pickups.
my buddy told me he had bought it 4 years proir to that used for $700 marked down from $900. i got it from him for $200 it sounds great and looks awesome even if the pictures do suck. can anyone tell me anything about this guitar??

seriously fucking tell me something.

you might be able to get $200 for it.

that is not a 900 dollar guitar!

looks japanized to me. not usa, bad fixed bridge set up, ugly non jackson head stock crappy pick ups....cool paint job...whats the serial number? you can get the model from their website. it could be a stealth an obscure dinkey or a no name stratt version...but judging by the head stock i'd say its in the 99 to 00 year mark. i could be wrong seeing as i have never seen that config on a jackson before. good luck man...could be a long lost jem who knows...like i said, check the serial numbers on the plate on the back or on the last frett.

I think it's an older SLS model.

toggletoggle post by RustedAngel at Jan 7,2005 2:57pm
1997 model

toggletoggle post by Blue  at Jan 7,2005 2:59pm
yeah, it definetly is an older sls model. and it most likely korean made. if it was japanese made, the serial number would be stampted on the fretboard right next to the neck pickup.

jesus,

you paid 200 dollars for a USA made SLS? That's a USA model. Check out the 1997 jackson catalogue. They go on ebay for about 800-900 bucks. Neckthrough body, dimarzio pickups (super distortion bridge). These are sought after by fusion players.

It's worth more than $200, but good luck finding somebody who knows what it is and is willing to fork the cash. I wish I had the cash myself.
