I've only found two split ends in my hair. I don't use a lot of conditioner, only like once a week, and a small amount at that, cause i hate how greasy it makes my hair look and feel.

my hair was alot longer in high school, but it was a pain in the ass. i shaved my head completely bald after i graduated and have kept it pretty short ever since. i tried to grow it out a couple years ago, but once it got long enough to comb, i got tired of it.

I hear you dan...I've had my hair this long since late 02, and I like the way I look with it more tha with short hair, but the brushing and hair everywhere is starting to become a pain in the ass.

I used to have hair down to my ass when I was in college. After having long hair for a long time I couldn't even bear the thought of cutting it off. Then I cut it off one day. While I miss it occasionally, the benefits definately overcome the setbacks. Being able to drive with the window down without getting my hair in my face, not getting hair caught in my stubble constantly, not sitting on my hair constantly, no more knotting, getting hair wrapped in my guitar tuning heads, etc... PLUS: getting laid a ton more. I'd say my success rate increased 90% with short hair. Also, besides women, most employers seem to like short hair better.

I used to have a shaved head in high school. I can't grow my hair long cause it frows up. i use the gel cause i'm french. the only time i don't use gel is when i wear a beanie hat cause it gives my hair a backstreet boy look. i doubt i'll ever grow hair past my ears.

just grow a beard. more fun, and if you fuck it up or shave it off on whim, it only takes 6 months to get a decent one again. now i wanna grow my 'tut' again

I had a goatee last week but hacked it off cause my lush aunt pisses all over my hopes and dreams when she says how bad it looks on me. i think she was moreorless knocking at the fact that dudes with facial hair hardly ever get laid, she's good for that kinda advice.

the only time i miss it is at metal shows. when my hair was long i could headbang a long time and my head wouldn't hurt. but now, headbanging with short hair kinda doesn't work out, it makes my head hurt.

I used to have long ass dreads. Male pattern baldness took over. Now I bang my head like I'm poking people in the eyes with my hair, but I'm not. So sad, so lonely.
