I am appalled at the level of anti-Scientology bigotry and vitriol. Such talk would never be acceptable about Jewish Rabbis. The Sea Org are a religious group of workers much like any group of rabbis priests or monks. They are called to a higher purpose and when they voluntarily commit to live the Sea Org life they know that they are not allowed to have children. So the abortions are voluntary. There are also some cases of women who raise the child till age 6 and then the child is raised communally and they return to the sea org. The children are well taken care of. And whatever the women and their team decide is what is best for them and the Sea Org and for everyone.

Sea Org is so much more modern than other religious groups. You are allowed to have sex and get married. Monks and catholic priests can't do that. But the one rule is no children. But that is what a life of service entails.

Not please stop with your anti-Scientology prejudice and bigotry. It is completely based in your ignorance of the subject.
