Josh is in a wheel chair. His guitar is almost as big as he is. These are the first two things you notice when he (quite literally) rolls on to a stage. The understandable surprise and curiosity of people in the room is put to immediate rest and traded in for awe and appreciation once he starts playing. This guy is a true talent. Shredding up and down his frets with an accuracy and ease that is rarely seen in someone so young. He doesn’t just play guitar, he attacks it. While I can’t say I’m all to big a fan of the tone he uses, I do get it. It fits what he’s playing. He’s comfortable with the crowds, and in the few times I’ve seen them…has damn near flawless performances. While his backing vocals are about as cookie cutter generic as you can get for this type of band, he does it well. He’s definitely a force to be reckoned with.
