When i say EKIT, i'm specifically referring to an attachment to the pedal that moves with the beaters, and you set it so that the detonators hit the plate at the same time your beaters hit the head. Technically, if the trigger is on the drums, it's called an acoustic trigger, and not an EKIT.

They're not perfect, and the AXIS pedals take a LONG ASS time to get used to, because there's so much to adjust on them that's not like any other pedal... but they trigger much much more accurately than any of the acoustic triggers i've tried, and i've tried 3 different brands of those. It's seriously a WORLD of difference, i playing on the accoustic triggers made me think i should give up trying to be fast because they missed so many hits..... well, the AXIS made me wanna quit drums for the first couple months cause it was so different, and hard to get used to, but now that i'm comfortable with it, it can accurately track my playing to a "T". I love them, but i honest to fucking god play for at least 3 hours a day, usually a lot more than that, and it still took me almost 3 months before i was comfortable with them.
