Here's a really awesome thread that just sucked 2 hours of my life away. It's two of the engineer/producers of Extreme's albums talking about recording them. It's pretty relevant just in the fact that so much of that early shit was recorded right in Hanson Ma, at Cortlan studios. A lot of references to local studios, rehearsal spots, and engineers.

While you may or may not like Extreme, it's amazing how such a big name set of engineers like Bob St James grew out of the same shitty hole in the world as the rest of us.
