I definitely went in expecting a shit show of a movie with a huge fun factor, but even the fun factor was lacking.

You see a movie like, The Rock, or The Rundown knowing full well that you're not going to be seeing Oscar calliber cinema, but that you'll be grinning the entire time and at least entertained.

Legion was lacking the latter. The action was pretty much garbage and what they lacked in story and acting, they also lacked in gore(which I figured they were going to pile on).
With a few well respected actors in the ranks, I was really really surprised at how poorly they did. The effects were corny and I think the most fun I had with this movie was making fun of the rednecks sitting behind us.
The biggest problem I had with this movie, was Why?
Why is this happening in the movie? They vaguely explain why "angels" are inhabiting people's bodies and attacking a dinner in the middle of no where. Apparently some unborn baby is the salvation of man kind from a God who's "tired of the bullshit"(yes, that's the line they use to describe why the apocolypse happens).
Why is this baby important?

THEY. NEVER. EXPLAIN. THIS.

This factor alone is infuriating and completely destroys the movie for me.

They hint that since the baby is born to a single mother, and is loved by a man/boy who isn't even the father, that human compasion is what saves the world, but don't really develop the theory. They just piled more and more shit on to make the movie look "cool".

Thank goodness my friend paid for me to convince me to go.
