No hatred for Jim, and I understand that 99.9% of what he posts is just for his personal enjoyment. My question wasn't even about Jim specifically, its just something I've never understood. What I'm getting at specifically is.... Just as an example, say I make a "Deftones Appreciation Thread," there will definitely be posts saying how much the Deftones suck, and I think that makes no sense. Obviously, if you think the Deftones suck, an appreciation thread wasn't made for you. Now, if the thread was titled "What do you think of the Deftones," then commence with the bashing all you want. I don't know, just seems silly to me.
