I really like the sound and feel of Laney amps. Great bang for the buck.

I can't see why Marshall amps have ever gotten popular. I genuinely think it has something to do with consistency and ease of use. You buy them and they all sound the same and even a fool can figure out how to make them sound good. To me, that's a piss poor reason to buy something that will dictate what your music sounds like. There's tons of great tone out there at better prices, why box yourself into sounding like every other shnub with the money to buy a JCM series?
