I did a little DOF calculation going from f/1 @ 105mm to f/64 @ 6" and increasing you f-stop that many times made the DOF go from .0 to .1 or .2 inches. Eye opening there. Hahaha, wow. I've never really been interested in it (all macro looks the same to me...bugs, flowers, repeat) but it irritates me knowing I haven't tried. I'm weird like that. if you can't tell a bug apart from a flower... It's hard to get good macros. the above yellow flowers which a macro shot, but it's a fail shot.
