In diablo 2, if you wanted to be a fireball sorc, you leveled fireball and all the peripheral skills, and any other skills got left behind, so you had to really make sure you wanted to be a fireball sorc, cuz at like lvl 80 your other skills would basically be useless, but in this one, you just have to level up your character and the game levels all your skills every time equally. LAME.
