I've always preferred King Crimson, Yes, Tull, and others to Rush only in the sense that I think Rush fails to capture emotion in a lot of their (newer) songs. king crimson and tull are incredible and can almost hang with rush, but rush completely destroys yes and defecates in yes's dickhole. i like yes, but rush kills them. just my opinion. if i could only listen to 3 bands for the rest of my life, i'd choose katatonia (because they're my favorite), and rush and motorhead (because they are the two best bands i've ever heard).
