supremely disappointed in myself for not being there right now.

I got home late. Excuses excuses blah blah blah. I've become everything I despise.

No, no, no young man. You missed a band getting back together to cash in on their celebrity from a documentary. Nobody knew who they fuck they were before, except for a few diehards. Mention Negative Approach 10 years ago in Boston and nobody knew who the fuck they were. Your hard earned $17 would have gone into Brannon's junkie arm. Save the money and go see two good shows.

You forget that there were 2 newish bands on tour and hammer bros who are the most sincere and legit hardcore band from our area right now and hard as nails. there was a local opener that has been playing their hearts out in font of nobody for years but still do it with a smile. and a great band from NY that has never really been big but still came out and had a great time. those were reasons enough to go to show.. getting to hear a live NA set was a bonuc. and I've defintely been listening to negative approach for ten years and i wasnt any sort of diehard, i was jsut getting into the scene they've always been easilyaccessible and madball covered them. everyone has always know negative approach.

yes 17 dollars is steep, but thats what happens with clubs needing to take cuts to pay thier bouncers and doormen and what not. i'd like to see a more DIY prescense in providence, maybe chris could book hall shows and have reasonible door prices. last week for Death threat and 100 demons at the same club was 15 dollars so i dont think you can 100% blame NA for the high prices.
