People are people. Some are good. Some are assholes. The fact that you listen to metal does not make you a good person. I'd say a majority of the metal kids I've met have been complete waste of space assholes, along with alot of hardcore kids i've met. If metal kids are such good people then why can't I goto a metal show and have fun without a dozen long haired doofuses trying to start with me because i look different.

Personally I couldn't care less about music, or musical tastes. But to generalize things like that and to open your mouth about things you clearly know nothing about as cool as Oprah Winfrey's diherrea. You're a complete idiot if you think what style of music you listen to has anything at all to do with personal character.

metal has nerds and so does hardcore. it's never going to change. and no one will ever learn.

p.s. I'm straightedge. do something about it.
