I don't know; I was into the whole "Bond" feel, and the story was a little more coherent in 3, IMHO. Plus the CQC thing was sweet.

Rev, the end of MGS3 is seriously an hour and a half long, with maybe 15 minutes of play sprinkled throughout. I spent forever trying to clear the last boss, and then my GF and I just sat there going "WTF?!?" for the feature-length movie that followed. Redonkulous.
