My daughter had an older boy throwing her on the ground at recess for a while...better believe I gave her full permission to hit him. She punched him straight in the balls (he had a foot on her stomach holding her down) and the kid spent the day puking in the nurses office. She hasn't hit anyone since because she knows it's not permitted, but I fully believe in self defense since the school doesn't do dick about bullying in spite of the nice little letters they send home after every school shooting saying they will.

my aunt is a 3rd grade teacher, and she said that now they aren't allowed to punish a troublemaker when they do something bad, they have to reward them when they do something good.
