All who vote for Ron Paul will be put on the list of those opposed to the coming changes in America like the National ID card. To break it down, each candidate is designed to appeal to different personalities. People who are a threat to them, are people who are against more surveillance and invasion of privacy.

People like Ron Paul and even Alex Jones are put out there to bring people opposed to things such as microchip implants out of the shadows. To put it bluntly they WANT a revolution, an attempted one at least. So all those that participate can be either imprisoned or killed. This is the purpose of so called "underground" documentaries like Zetgeist. I wish it wasn't true, but America is absolutely fucked and there is no chance of a change.
