There's no way for you to know that for certain.

And I disagree. I think saving species from extinction is a pretty important thing.

You can't say a species was 'meant' to die from something, that's implying that there is some plan or schedual by which everything has to die.

Besides, at the rate fashion is evolving, who knows what kind of pelts we will need in the future. Saving the animals of today will surely ensure a future for jackets tomorrow.
