this really fucking bothers me. i am all for the work done to protect animals from man-made issues, but here is an example where we go too far. for all we know, nature selected them for natural extinction, but we have to play the bleeding heart and step in. if disease is meant to kill them off, then as much as it will suck to be rid of a species, its natural selection. so then they throw them into a new ecosystem to thwart nature, and cause more problems by introducing a new species into a new environment. extinction is something this world has always faced, we cant start diverting it to look as if we are heroes.
