Some of the facts were changed or just left out completely. There were originally 1300 men fighting not 300. But, only 300 were spartans. Of course it wouldn't be a hollywood success without the comic book graphics. The guy knows his shit and I respect him but not my thing. I guess I just like realistic history without the huge rhinos and mammoths. Best thing about this movie was the one line that was actually spoken during the battle. "Our arrows will blot out the sun", "then we will fight in the shade". Beautiful. There weren't 300 men fighting in the movie either. There were 300 Spartans, but they met up with a couple hundred Acadians (in the movie).
