ok so i'm going to chicago to shoot lollapalooza

flight was cheap but all the hotels are sold out except for ones not within walking distance and 350$ a night walking distance ones

good thing is that the chicago transportation system rules...

anyhow can someone suggest any good areas to look for hotels that are close to the subway?

i might have to walk a bit and given all the $$$ I'll be carrying on my back in equipment going back to the hotel every night...well i want it to be a decent area..

i got 2 tickets in hopes of someone else going so i could split the cost of the hotel but the friend that as gonna come with me moved out of state
