The national guard is already out on our borders. They already work under local governments. My girlfriend's sister was in florida busting dope dealers years ago in these same kind of circumstance.

If this kind of deployment really worries you about the onset of a police state, the it bit you in the ass without you even seeing it dozens of years ago.

The radical interweb bullshit you read takes some small part of government or politics that the average reader knows little of, and highlights it in some sensational manner. If you take the time to brush up, these are usually systems and practices that have been in place for generations.
