A little story I wrote...
He was always a good boy growing up.
He always got good grades,
And never once was in a fight.
He would always get gold stars on his work in school.
He was always your best friend.
He was always there until the very end.
Then one night the he heard daddy hitting mommy.
He refused to believe it.
He just blocked it out.
The one night it got really bad.
Daddy killed mommy.
The little boy was so sad.
But the little boy had become a man.
He worked a nine to five.
He had a family of his own.
But the man was still a little boy.
Depression ate him away inside.
And he told no one.
So he decided he didn't want to exist.
He cut his wrists.
And put two golden stars on the bathroom door.
And in a note later found,
All he asked is;
"Mommy... Daddy... Are you proud now?
Am I still you're golden boy?"
