I like Necrophagist because they go off and get all proggy and actually bring something new to the style. Just my opinion, I don't think the style sucks I just dont think it deserves all the hype it gets. I would totally recommend the new Polish scene to you, these bands have REALLY gone back to the songwriting process. Check out stuff like Trauma, Dies Irae, Crionics, Lostsoul.
