Awesome graphics (for the time), great engine, fluid controls and movement, easy and versatile console. There's endless tweaking without having to know anything about modding or mapping. The feel of id engines are just great in my opinion. The looks and movement/controls just feel good. I think I'd give the Farcry engine the award for worst feeling engine ever. Everything about the gameplay in that game was horrible. I couldn't even stand to play it with cheats enabled.
