yeah that guy definitely sucks

the funny thing about the DI show was that he called me literally as i was walking out the door to go there...after the supposed "load-in time"...and he stutters for about a minute and i say

me: "what the fuck do you want im gonna be there in 2 minutes?"
kenny: "ummmm i need a PA"
me: "what do you mean you need a PA? you didn't have one in advance?"
kenny: "no i thought one of the bands was gonna bring one. can't you?"
me: "ours sucks and is in no way intended for public use"
kenny: "but nobody else has one."
me: "I NEED DUCT TAPE FOR IT TO WORK! HOW THE FUCK DO YOU EXPECT ME TO DO THIS IT'S NOT EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE TO ME!"
kenny: "cmon man i need a PA"
me: "jesus christ...i'll be there in an hour"

then he took approximately 45 minutes to get me duct tape from the owner...just so i could get the one speaker out of the two we had to work right and hope it was loud enough....ridiculous.

to make a long story short...even though you've already read it...he didn't understand that a PA is needed for every show, and didn't think it was fucked up to depend on someone at the last second for something so crucial. then ask them for a ride home and harrass them while drunk the whole night...asshole
