It has NOTHING to do with getting paid. If I was looking to make money playing music, I'd ditch Pillory and join a metalcore band or something. When Chris told me about the gig, I was under the impression we actually wouldn't get paid. I'm fine with that, so are least 3 of the other members, despite having to rent a van just to play it.

I've had some problems with Kenny in the past. From shutting down the PA at sausagefest and getting in my face, to fucking up the last show at octane and not even thinking to secure a PA. I told him explicitly that I would do no more shows where he's involved, and unfortunately I have too much pride to go back on my word. I understand what you mean when you say this isn't Kenny's show, but this is the exact same arrangement as the last show we did at octane and yet I still ended the night by almost cracking that retards head open. I just can't bring myself to helping this kid with his half-assed attempt at a music career. Kenny was put on this earth to suck shit out of septic tanks. I'm just trying my damnedest to help him find his intended career a little sooner by not helping to support his efforts.

Don't take it personally Blue. You have no idea how much I'd love to do this show. The other guys in Pillory were all down for it, but I just can't go back on my word. If you could find a way to remove Kenny from the process completely we'd do it in a heartbeat. If you ever have an open slot on any bill he's not involved with, we'd gladly do it, regardless of pay.
