I've recently moved to Boston and I need to get another band going. Material already written but I need input from a good drummer to put the rest of my songs together that I've been working on up here. If you are interested in writing and playing original material which might compare to late Death with Jason Becker influences as well as taking inspiration from all other types of metal with subtle hints of jazz, blues, and occasionally funk, contact me by phone or AIM. Music is typically rather brutal but has it's melodic points (not in an at the gates or in flames clone way) you'll hear it for yourself. Looking to practice at least 3 times a week starting off, also intend to be gigging as soon as possible. Drummer: anything like Richard Christy, Gene Hoglan, or Sean Reinhart. If any or all of these are a main influence on you and you can sucessfully play some of their material, perfect. Bassist: doesn't need to know any theory, needs a very good ear and tight timing. If also capable of good various kinds of metal vocals or very good at one or two, perfect.
