New site? Maybe some day.
|
I watched this movie last night, it was okay - a few holes in the plot line, but interesting.
I was thinking today, if I could go back and do things differently I wonder how different things would be right now.
When I was in 8th grade at Pierce Middle School in Milton, I decided I had enough of Milton, so instead of going to Milton High, I went to Blue Hills regional in Canton.
If I had not done so, I wonder what my life would have been like? Milton is a really townie town, I already hated alot of the kids and I doubt that would have changed. I am sure I would have a much more pessimistic look on life if I had done that. Maybe, depending on who I became friends with, my years after high school would have been different. It was all the meatheads in Auto Repair that turned me to the arts, so I probably would never have started a label, though I was already into metal and shit before I decided I wanted to start a label or do something with music, so I might have gotten into the underground scene here anyway.
For colleges, I only looked at 2 places, Northeastern (which I went to for one year) and the University of nova scotia. If i had chosen the latter, I definately would not have started NotCommon, maybe I would have started a label, but probably not until right about now actually, and I would probably be living in Canada still, in Toronto maybe.
How would the metal scene in Boston be if I had never been around, I wonder? The Chopping Block never did metal before I got in there, and I only got in there because I use to do punk as well. There would have been Prophetless Productions still, but with just the one show a month at obriens, other then that, nobody else really seemed to be taking initiative and the whole idea of metal in Boston seemed like a distant dream or a taboo subject. Not that metal wouldn't exist, just I think it would continue on the route it had been, outside of the city in halls or small clubs, mixed with hardcore bands in many cases.
Okay, everyone else now, if you had made a different decision in life, something big, what would it have effected?

1212098th thread about this movie
heh
sorry joe<3 |
|
oh i hope you watched the director's cut ending |
|
Read my post, its not about the movie. |
|
ahhh he cut out the fucking post part!!!!! no edit! keep it true! heh |
|
Ha, damnit, caught red handed.
Anyways, to elaborate on my post, I would not know anyone from this board, except maybe Beakey and Moran, because I think Disengaged would have started regardless of if I moved because Ed was working with Beakey before I started NotCommon and I knew him. If I had went to college around here, but not started the label I would have met him, and even if I went to college in Canada, I might have met them during summer break when I came home.
Everyone I know, with a few exceptions, is based on doing this music stuff, so if I had not done it, I would not know the same people - I would not have even met them. |

The original movie is better than the director's cut. |

remember the other thread mistah?
aaron called you a nut for liking that one
na na na!
we saw it at my brother's place (he had already seen it) and showed us the director's cut because he preferred that one and it had extra scenes..
|
|
your question was about the movie, which I am not even talking about it so answer the question that my post originally brought up instead of some stupid directors cut for fuck's sake.
I still hate gays. |

after my son was born 3.5 yrs ago, i realized that everything i had ever done before was right, even the things that i used to consider mistakes. if i had done even just one thing differently, i might not have this amazing kid. he instantly erased all the regrets i had about my life. |
|
I wasn't saying I would change anything, just if I had made a decision differently. |
|
joe your a fag in desperate need of pussy |
|
the irony of that post.
however, I agree with it.
I think one of the girls (or really femmie guys) on this board need to give one up for the team so joe will be less hatefilled. |
|
I think you should do away with anonymous posts so all these losers that don't like me can't hide behind anonymous posts. |
|
yeah.. but then how would I sell the shirts I'm going to make? |
|
let me log out and see if it appears on the screen |
|
hahaha
those will be funny
i guess that means you can't add a spell checker:
<<YOU'RE >> not your |
|
um.. that's spelled write...
just like this aim convo,
just the grammer that is wrong.. not write. |
|
spell check recognizes those errors |
