*this is wildly off topic - stimulated by the prospect of "[hanging] out in PVD more", but every time I've played in PVD the kids have this "we're more creative than you" or "you're not one of us" elitist attitude. One time HTLCiP played, and I was singing DIRECTLY in someone's face, inbetween the person and who they were talking to, and they just kept on talking like I wasn't even there.

Then there was the time Aganihm played the Box O Knives and this fucking dick head guy that lived upstairs had a shirt on with "Alpha Lamda Delta" written on it. I asked him if he was a member and he was like, "Dude, stop bothering me, I'm not gonna suck your dick!" then proceeded to pick a fight with some other kid there.

AND there's also the time there was fucking like 19 fires floating in the river. Guns were designed to kill, but they arent just senseless murder weapons. If you were getting stabbed up wouldnt you want a cop with a gun to blow the son of a bitch away immediately who was cutting you, or would you want them to run over and start stabbing? Although a situation like this is unlikely, its possible.

Swords and knives are used for hunting just like guns. If anything, id say a knife is a more senseless murder weapon because a gun could malfunction and blow you away where to kill someone with a knife, you gotta step to them and stick it in there fucking body.

Bows were made to kill too. Just because they are less prevalent today and arent as powerful dosent change the fact that they are a tool that was built to kill people from a far distance.

People, like powerkok said, need to teach kids how dangerous guns are. They need to be responsible. If you read the statistics, you get something. If you research a little further on the families, youll find out that many people dont teach their kids the potential danger involved. YOu see signs on the pike in boston that talk about shootings involved with kids, but half those shootings are stray bullets hitting kids because of asshole gang wars, so powerkoks right, lets fucking kill shitty gangsters. It may be a killing machine, but its a right as old as this country to own one. So rather than spending time trying to get rid of them, spend time trying to teach about being safe with them, because they arent going anywhere.
