SIEGE SIDEMAN RESIGNS : SIEGE supporting bassist for their 2017 final tour dates Paulie Kraynak announced his resignation today amidst allegations of racial inappropriateness in past musical projects. “Habelt and Williams are trying to do something bi-partisan and really positive with this final celebration of SIEGE” Kraynak stated in his written announcement. “None of us have been into ‘anti-p.c.-core’ or that racial stuff for a long, long time. But if my presence distracts from the positive music and message they’re making for fans, it’s better for me to step aside.” Kraynak was a member of AxCx in the 1990’s. “SIEGE has the important privlige to make an anti-war statement, and to give voice to the rage of the disenfranchised worldwide” drummer and songwriter Rob Williams wrote in a message to fans on FB. “We take that unity with our punk family very seriously – and like them, we’ve kept and are keeping that true spirit of protest alive in our hearts.”
